A Silicon Valley idol and humanitarian for the past thirty years, Steve Wozniak assisted in shaping the computing industry by presenting his creations, the Apple I and Apple II. The Apple I and Apple II had also greatly influenced the popular Macintosh. In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer Inc. with Wozniak's Apple I personal computer as their jumpstart idea. The following year, he introduced his invention, a PC, featuring a CPU, a "QWERTY" keyboard, color graphics, and a floppy disk drive, and called it the Apple II . The Apple II was very important for starting up the PC
