John Warnock




John Warnock was born on October 6, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has no siblings to speak of.

John Warnock went to the University of Utah. He has a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, as well as a B.S. in mathematics and philosophy.

John Warnock is best known for being the co-founder of Adobe and creating Adobe Systems PostScript. Though he originally worked for Xerox until 1982, he started his new company after leaving Xerox.

John Warnock has been awarded on numerous occasions, but is known for his award for American Electronics Association (he and Charles Geschke are the first software leaders to receive the award). He is still alive today but working as the chairman of the board at Adobe.
