Tim Berners-Lee



He was born on June 8, 1955. He had a sister named Mary Berners-Lee. He grew up in south west London. The school he went to was The Emanuel School in Wadsworth High. His college was called The Queen's College. It is located in Oxford, England. He was best known for starting the World Wide Web. He also started the World Wide Web Consortium or W3C. He has a website. It's called http://www.w3.org/people/berners-lee Also, he worked for Web Science Trust and World Wide Web Foundation, both of which started in 2009. At that time, he also advised Britian's government on technology.
